My Journey
My experience with art began in 2013 at a retreat in British Columbia. There, I discovered how to paint with my eyes closed, alternating between my left and then right hand. I was selecting colours blindly, or so I thought. My subconscious was choosing them.
I really enjoyed this experience and noticed that I felt more expressive than ever before. This opened me up to discover my potential in art that I had kept buried for some time.
This is how I discovered my purpose.
Like all artists, I began collecting my materials, setting up and organizing my workspace.
Sometimes I started with an intention, while other times I just felt the need to doodle. Either way, I began to create from a dreamy state of intuition and vision.
This brought to life on canvas my passion and love of horses and sailing.
To my surprise, out of the blue, I began to create visual art in a state of harmony with the divine. Over this time, I felt challenged by experiences that would redirect me from enjoying my process. I became confused, disoriented and felt out of place in the artist community. In the face of adversity, I trusted myself enough to find the right support, and against all odds, I persevered with
my creations.
Now feeling victorious, this collection continues to grow in size knowing that it is to help support others in their healing, finding their own way to self-realization.
